Disney Japan celebrates the upcoming Girls’ Day (or Dolls’ Day) with the release of a new Tsum Tsum box set. The new set includes Mickey and Minnie and also introduces three characters that are appearing in Tsum Tsum form for the first time, April, May, and June (Daisy’s nieces)!
Girls’ Day is celebrated on March 3rd every year in Japan which generally involves decorating the home with hina dolls to bless the family’s daughter with good health and happiness. The hina dolls are said to represent the emperor, empress, and the attendants which is likely the basis for this Tsum Tsum set as Mickey and Minnie are dressed like an emperor and empress.
The set is now available online and will be available in stores on February 4th.

An unannounced Tsum Tsum set released at D23 Expo 2019. The collection feature characters from various Pixar short films including Bao, Dante’s Lunch, Geri’s Game, Sanja’s Super Team, Knick Knack, Tin Toy, and La Luna.
The box set is limited to 1000 and is only available at D23 Expo 2019.

D23 Expo 2019 is almost here! The event will run from August 23-25. During the event, fans will have the opportunity to purchase two exclusive The Adventure of Ichabod and Mr. Toad’s 70th Anniversary Tsum Tsum box sets. Both set is limited to 1000 boxes and will retail for $29.95. If you are attending the event, expect these to sell out quick.
The Adventure of Ichabod and Mr. Toad consists of two short film, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and The Wind in the Willows. The two Tsum Tsum box sets reflect each of the story. The first set includes Headless Horseman, Ichabod Crane, and Katrina Van Tassel. The second set includes Mr. Toad (in woman’s outfit) and Cyril (dressed as Toad’s grandma).

Earlier this year, Japan released a limited edition Kingdom Hearts Tsum Tsum box set at D23 Expo Japan 2018. The set is releasing again in Japan on December 18th.
The box set features Donald, Sora, Goofy, Kairi, Shadow, Riku, Mickey, and Soldier Heartless. The original box set was limited to 500. We do not know if this one will be as limited as well. The rereleased set will feature a slightly different box than the original.

A new exclusive Mickey & Minnie Tsum Tsum box set is now available in limited Target stores. The set features one Mickey and three Minnie Tsum Tsums – a Mickey wearing sunglasses, a Minnie wearing sunglasses with a colorful polka dot dress, a mermaid Minnie (see below for picture), and a sleeping Minnie Tsum Tsum with the same polka dot dress. The box set retails for $19.99.
