Disney's Tsum Tsum Plush Guide
Zootopia was one of the biggest movies in 2016. It has now been five years since the film released and in commemoration, Disney Japan will release a new Zootopia Tsum Tsum set on March 2nd. The collection includes Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Ele-Finnick, Chief Bogo, Officer Clawhauser, Flash, and Mr. Big. The Zootopia set is similar to the previous set that released years ago but with some noticeable differences. See if you can spot them.
Disney Japan celebrates Children’s Day (Tango no Sekku) with the release of a new Tsum Tsum set. The collection features four characters, Donald and Stitch in Koinobori (carp windsock kite) outfits and Goofy and Winnie the Pooh in Kashiwa Mochi (a dessert wrapped in kashiwa leaves) outfit. The set will be available on March 2nd in Japan.
A new Sakura Tsum Tsum set is coming to Japan on February 2nd. The new collection includes Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Donald, Daisy, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore in cute pink outfits representing the cherry blossoms.
The cherry blossom season starts as early as January but in most areas in Japan the trees begin to bloom from April and May.
Disney Japan is celebrating the 10th anniversary of UniBEARsity with the release of a special reversible Tsum Tsum set. The collection includes four characters, Mocha, Pudding, Puffy, and Whip, and will be available on January 21.

The 2020 Christmas Tsum Tsum collection is coming to Japan! This year’s set features eight characters including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, and Eeyore. Each character is dressed in festive outfits including Winnie the Pooh who is dressed like Santa and Eeyore as a reindeer! The collection will be available in Japan on November 1st.
A new Kotatsu Tsum Tsum set will arrive in Japan on November 1st. A kotatsu is basically a low table with a heating element attached under it, covered with a futon or blanket, and topped with a tabletop. People will usually sit with their legs inside the table to keep warm. It serves to warm and draw people together. The Tsum Tsum set features three characters, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, sleeping under a removable kotatsu. The individual Tsum Tsum retails for 1540 JPY (~$14.91 USD) each.
A new Apple Tsum Tsum collection is coming to Japan on October 16th. The collection includes five characters, Donald, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, and Piglet, in colorful, apple-themed outfits.
A Kingdom Hearts III Tsum Tsum box set is coming to Japan. Preorders already started on October 2nd and the set will release October 27.
The box set includes eight characters including Kairi, Sora, Riku, Mickey, Young Xehanort, Axel, Roxas, and Aqua.
It retails for 5500 JPY (~$52.71 USD).
