As Tsum Tsum’s popularity continues to rise, we see a much wider variety of consumer products featuring our favorite Disney characters. Today, I want to share my thoughts on the newest collections from Lip Smacker starring our beloved Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch!

“Fun to collect, fun to stack, and simply adorable” is the marketing tagline for this collection; and you read this absolutely correct – these lip balms are stackable! This is simply clever because it perfectly aligns to the core idea of Tsum Tsum (in case you forgot that “tsum tsum” means stack-stack in Japanese).

Without knowing that they are lip balms, these Tsum Tsum lip smackers look like tiny figurines. For size comparison, they are slightly smaller but much heavier than the mini size plush that we are all so familiar with.

To use, twist the topper on the bottom to reveal the dome-shaped lip balm. Each of the four characters carries its unique scent. Mickey comes in Marshmallow Pop, Minnie in Strawberry Lollipop, Stitch in Blueberry Wave, and Winnie the Pooh in Honey Pot. They all remind me the smell of Starburst candies, very sweet and almost thought they were edible. If you do not happen to be a fan of candy-flavored lip balms, have no fear because the scent is essentially unnoticeable once you apply to your lips (in my experience at least), nearly no smell or taste.

These adorable ones provided me long-lasting moisture without the greasiness. They applied very thinly which you can build it up to suit your preference. I applied three thin layers and it lasted more than 6 hours until I had to eat. The quality of the lip balm surpassed my expectations and props to Lip Smackers for creating such a quality product!

Appearance: 5 out of 5
Scent: 4.5 out of 5
Usability: 3 out of 5
Long-lastingness: 4 out of 5
Lip Smacker’s Disney Tsum Tsum collection retails for $5.50 each. They are available for purchase online on Lipsmacker.com and Amazon. You may also find them at selected Target, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Walmart.

What do you think of the Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Smackers? Have you seen them in your local stores?

Oranges are a recognized symbol of Chinese New Year and are associated with “wealth”. The Chinese associate the gift of oranges as having abundance prosperity.

Last week, JCPenney started selling Tsum Tsum plushes. This week, Tsum Tsum plushes have been spotted on the shelves of Walmart.

The plushes use the same tags as the Target/JCPenney Tsum Tsums but many people are claiming they feel softer. They are also retailing for $4.44! Please note that only *some* Walmarts are carrying Tsum Tsum plushes right now. You may want to call your local Walmart before going.

Who else will begin selling Tsum Tsum plushes next? Our guess is Toys-R-Us, since they are already carrying Tsum Tsum merchandises (just not the plushes).
Update: Tsum Tsum plushes are now officially being sold by Walmart online. Currently, only the large Mickey, large Minnie, and medium Winnie the Pooh are sold by Walmart. The rest are from third-party resellers.

Based on last month’s description of “SUB MN PNK MN DUO” (small Minnie and mini Pink Minnie), this month’s box should be a small Olaf and mini Snowgie.
