Disney's Tsum Tsum Plush Guide
A new Valentine’s Day Tsum Tsum set is coming to Japan. The set features six characters and will come in pairs. The pairs are Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Daisy, and Winnie the Pooh & Piglet. Each pair comes with a heart shaped pillow for the plushes and retails for 3080 JPY (~$23.25 USD) and will be available January 1st.
A new Snowman Tsum Tsum collection is coming to Japan on November 8th. The set includes six characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Winnie the Pooh, and Piglet, in snowman-form.
Disney Store Japan is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with the release of a variety of Tsum Tsum sets.
This box set features 23 various characters in a collectible box. The box set retails for 24,200 JPY (~$180.90 USD) and will be available on August 21st.
This set is inspired by Nagoya, the prefecture where the Disney Store is located. Donald and Daisy are dressed in a shrimp tempura costume while Chip and Dale are dressed in a tenmusu (rice ball and shrimp tempura) costume. The collection will retail for 1,320 JPY (~$9.87 USD) each and will be available on August 11th.
This set is inspired by Shizuoka, the prefecture where the Disney Store is located. Mickey and Donald are dressed in unagi (eel) costumes. Eel is a specialty of Hamamatsu, a city located in the Shizuoka prefecture. Minnie and Daisy are dressed in tea leaf pickers attire. The collection will retail for 1,320 JPY (~$9.87 USD) each and will be available on August 26th.
This set is inspired by Sendai, the prefecture where the Disney Store is located. Donald, Chip, and Dale are dadacha beans, a type of edamame. The set retails for 4,400 JPY (~$32.89 USD) and will be avaiable on September 26th.
Six new Tsum Tsums in ice cream themed costumes are coming to Japan on August 2nd. The collection includes Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch.
It has been 20 years since the release of the film Lilo & Stitch in 2022. To celebrate, two new Lilo & Stitch Tsum Tsum sets are coming to Japan. First, a box set featuring Stitch, Lilo, Nani, Scrump, Jumba, and Pleakley, in a specially designed commemorative 20th anniversary box. The box set retails for 7150 JPY (~$53.44 USD) and will be available on June 10th.
An exclusive Elvis Presley Stitch Tsum Tsum will also release. This set captures the beach scene where Stitch performs his Elvis impersonation perfectly with Stitch in full Elvis costume and special packaging displaying the beach in the background. The Tsum Tsum retails for 1540 JPY (~$11.51 USD) and will be available on June 24th.
These studious Tsum Tsums are studying hard for their exams. The Pass Tsum Tsum collection features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, and Dale. The set will be available in Japan on January 18th.
A new Tsum Tsum set featuring The Little Green Men (from Toy Story) is coming soon to Japan. The set includes the characters in various Disney Pixar characters costumes including, Sally, Boo, Jack-Jack, Sadness, Lotso, Bo Peep, Arlo, and Carl Fredricksen. The collection releases on January 21st.
Japan Disney Store released a new Twister Wonderland Tsum Tsum set featuring the sixth dormitory, Savanaclaw. The set includes Leona Kingscholar, Jack Howl, and Ruggie Bucchi, and will be available on October 18th. The characters are inspired by The Lion King.
Tsum Tsums are going to college! Disney Japan is releasing a Fresher (or Freshman) Tsum Tsum set on March 19th. The collection features 7 characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, and Goofy, in various uniforms.
Twisted Wonderland is a Japanese mobile rhythm game created by Disney and Aniplex. The characters from the game are going to available in a special boxed Tsum Tsum set. The collection includes 8 characters, Azul Ashengrotto, Leona Kingscholar, Idia Shroud, Malleus Draconia, Vil Schoenheit, Kalim Al-Asim, Riddle Rosehearts, and Grim. The box set will retail for 9900 JPY (~$91 USD) and is now available for preorder until May 14th. Delivery for the preorders is scheduled for June 4th.
