The year 2025 is the Year of the Snake in the zodiac calendar. To celebrate, Disney Japan will launch a special Year of the Snake Tsum Tsum set on December 6, 2024. The set will feature six characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip, Dale, and Winnie the Pooh.

The Festival Tsum Tsum set celebrates various festivals in Japan. The collection features six characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip, Dale, and Stitch, in various attires. It will release on June 7th in Japan.

After years without a mega-sized Tsum Tsum release, shoppers in Japan have a unique opportunity to purchase one. Disney Japan is offering Mickey and Winnie the Pooh Mega Tsum Tsums for sale at 16,500 JPY (approximately $109 USD) each. However, these oversized plushies will only be produced if enough orders are received by a specified deadline. The sale period is from January 29th to February 13th, and Disney requires a minimum of 300 units of each character to be ordered in order to proceed with production.
Update: Unfortunately, the goal for both the Mickey and Winnie the Pooh Mega Tsum Tsum was not achieved and therefore will not be fulfilled.
