I recently took a trip to Hong Kong. Initially I would get all excited at seeing anything Tsum Tsum related, until about the third day when I realized how common Tsum Tsum merchandises were and just how popular Tsum Tsum is in Hong Kong. Tsum Tsums are almost everywhere in Hong Kong, from random street markets, malls, and even on the t-shirts of the locals. I documented some of the Tsum Tsum merchandises I encountered on my trip to Hong Kong.
Tsum Tsum Stationery
Tsum Tsum Pillows
Chocoolate x Tsum Tsum
Chocoolate, a Hong Kong fashion brand, collaborated with Disney earlier this year to release some Tsum Tsum apparel. These are the few Tsum Tsum clothing leftover at the Chocoolate store.
Tomica x Tsum Tsum
Mini Tsum Tsum Vinyl Figures
These micro Tsum Tsum vinyl figures were available in a box set or a blind box. The blind box included one mystery expression Tsum Tsum figure.
Maxim’s x Tsum Tsum Desserts
In celebration of Mid Autumn Festival, Disney teamed up with Hong Kong’s largest food corporation, Maxim’s, to release some limited edition Tsum Tsum edibles including, cake, mousse, and mooncakes. The mooncakes sold out instantly, however I was able to snap some pictures of the various cakes and mousse served in a collectible Tsum Tsum cup.
Hong Kong Disney Store (at the Airport)
There are three Disney Stores in the Airport. Two of them are in unrestricted areas and closes 9PM. I was not able to check out those stores because I had a late arriving and departing flight. Fortunately, there is another Disney Store in the departure terminal that opens until 11PM.
The Hong Kong Disney Store had so many Tsum Tsums in stock! They also sold many different Tsum Tsum merchandises.
I went a little overboard and bought a ton of gifts for for friends, family, and myself.
Fake Tsum Tsums
There were many unlicensed shops that sold Tsum Tsum plushes and merchandises. There were even fake Minions “Tsum Tsum” plushes.
For more details and pictures of Tsum Tsum products from my trip to Hong Kong, go here.

Disney has teamed up with Hong Kong’s largest food and beverage corporation to release some Tsum Tsum desserts for a limited time. The desserts include mousse, cakes, and mooncakes.
The flavored mousse includes a collectible, stackable Tsum Tsum cup. There are nine mousse dessert cups, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Winnie, Tigger, Buzz, Alien, Lotso, and Stitch. Each character is a different flavor (Buzz is chocolate, Lotso is strawberry).
There are three different Tsum Tsum cakes available, Lotso (strawberry mousse cake), Alien (mango mousse cake), and a 1.5lb strawberry Tsum Tsum cake.
In celebration of Mid Autumn Festival, Maxim’s (which is famous for their mooncakes) created two different Tsum Tsum themed boxes of mooncakes (egg custard and snowy). The egg custard is traditional mooncake with double yolk and the snowy mooncake includes four different flavors, mango, strawberry crunch, angel crunch (white chocolate), and double blueberry.
Maxim’s is also selling a Tsum Tsum tote bag for HK$58 with any Tsum Tsum dessert purchase.
Available at Maxim’s Cake Shop in Hong Kong.

We finally received our Mystery Tsum Tsum from Disney Movie Rewards! My wife and I both ordered one on September 11th. The order shipped out on September 15th and we finally received it September 21st. The estimated delivery time was two weeks. The whole process from redeeming to receiving the Tsum Tsums took 10 calendar days.
The random plush was delivered in a thin cardboard envelope and includes two pieces of advertisement, the receipt, and the mystery Tsum Tsum inside.
So, which one did we receive? I got Cinderella and my wife got Bashful (from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs).
If you were able to redeem yours in time, please let us know which Tsum Tsum you received!

The D23 Expo is coming to Japan on November 6-8. Like the last D23 Expo in North America, Disney will be releasing some exclusive Tsum Tsums for the event. Disney has given us a sneak peek of some of the Tsum Tsum sets.
The previews appears to have three bag sets from Pinocchio (Monstro with Pinocchio and Cleo), Steamboat Willie (Steamboat with Mickey and Minnie), and Fantasia (Sorcerer’s hat with Sorcerer Mickey and Broomstick(?)).
Fans hoping to attend the event will be required to enter a lottery system for a chance to purchase tickets to the event.
